Artist's Comments

She always cradled Dahlias in her arms, almost as colorful as the gowns she wore. She was sought after by many men, but none would ever be allowed to hold her. She was the envy of all the women in the village, with skin smoother than satin, hair silkier than those of the angels, and lips rosy with passion and temptation...though it was always her eyes that everyone fell in love with. Everyone lusted after her eyes. Sometimes they were amber, other times, blue. On occasion, they were green, but more often, they were hazel.

Her eyes were as striking as the secrets they held.

This was actually a doodle/sketch from like, last year, I think, during work. I only got to refine it and color it today LOL <333

This is a gorgeous picture... So rich in colour and elegance, I can't take my eyes off it! :XD: Please tell me, what techniques did you use to line and colour it?

Oh man I love art like this. The thick black lines and the colors you used, it's simplistic yet detailed, it's traditional, it's absolutely gorgeous, love  You certainly never fail to amaze.

VERY VERY VERY NICE. :D

Do you think of the writing parts first, or do they spring from the picture? (Or is it kind of simultaneous?) I love the way you write :)

I feel like all I'm going to be doing from now on is parroting myself from my last comment, but really, this is gorgeous. The colouring is very... non-invasive? It's soft, but without being at all faded - there's just something about it which feels kind of gentle. The picture is wonderful, but it's the colouring that's really divine in this picture - and the detail in her dress and hair... thing ^^; You always pay attention to the tiniest things, and it gives it this amazing overall impression. And the dahlias are beautiful, too - so lifelike

I want. That hairpiece.:heart::heart: And I want to see the different colours of her eyes ;)

Well, I sorta kinda have an idea for a story for the characters/pictures I draw *as* i'm drawing them, but a full out drabble or story in print doesn't really happen until I submit it, really XD;;; So it's kinda simultaneous :D

I GOT INTO CREATIVE WRITING IN SEPTEMBER, BTW. HOT DIGGITY \O.

Thanks, dear <3
